Les architectes de l'agence Nido ont été missionnées pour concevoir les aménagements et décors de l'hotel Drawing à Paris. L'hotel est un lieu dédié à l'Art contemporain, et au dessin. Le projet nécessitait à la fois la création d'un écrin pour les oeuvres, pensé comme une Galerie, tout en dégageant atmosphère chaleureuse et beaucoup de confort. L'hôtel comporte cinq étages, et chacun d'entre eux a été imaginé avec un artiste différent. Le fil conducteur de l'ensemble a été la couleur noire, ainsi que le bois. Des tissus originaux et contemporains, ainsi qu'une sélection de meubles design et iconiques, complètent les ambiances. Une attention toute particulière a été portée aux éclairages, comme dans un musée. En collaboration avec Douet Design, les deux architectes ont créé des ambiances lumineuses très feutrées, différentes à chaque heure du jour ou de la nuit.
English Description
Nido architects were commissioned in order to design the arrangements and decoration of the Drawing hotel in Paris. The hotel is a place dedicated to contemporary art and drawing. The project required both the creation of a beautiful setting for the works, designed as a gallery, while giving off a warm atmosphere and lots of comfort. The hotel has five floors. Different artists designed each of them. The common thread of the whole was the colour black, as well as wood. Original and contemporary fabrics, as well as a selection of designer and iconic furniture complete the atmosphere. Particular attention was paid to the lighting, like in a museum. In collaboration with Douet Design, the two architects have created very subdued light ambiances, different at each hour of the day or night.
