This apartment located in a 17th century building of the 6th arrondissement of Paris offers a beautiful vertical space under the roofs. Caroline Champenois, inspired by Amsterdam’s historic houses, emphasised the exercise of verticality and restructured the space. She provided the necessary comfort, without partitioning excessively. The gaze runs along the volumes, and upwards. The structuring of the space allows the creation of a graphic and masterful bookcase. The mezzanine offers a double volume, fitted out on both sides thanks to the custom joinery designed by Caroline.
